Culture

We do not promise scale. We promise direction.

A company of three talking about culture is a little premature. But some things have to be settled while the team is small — because the rules are written when you are small.

Beliefs

What we believe

01

Technology should serve distribution

Technology is not neutral in effect: it determines where profit ends up. The same efficiency gain can mean more for shareholders or more for the people doing the work. We choose the latter, and we write it into the product design.

02

Small team, high leverage

There are three of us. This is not a transitional state; it is deliberate. Small teams decide quickly, cost less, and everyone is accountable for outcomes. We believe tooling can compress work that used to take dozens of people.

03

Honesty is the cheapest strategy

Say so when we cannot do it, admit it when we get it wrong, flag what we are unsure about. We do not write unverifiable phrases like “industry-leading” or “empowering the ecosystem” — once you start talking like that, it is hard to stop.

How we work

How we work

Write first

Get it down on paper before building. If it cannot be written clearly, it usually is not clear.

Outcome-driven

No clock-watching, no performative overtime. The measure is whether the thing got done.

Long-term

We would rather move slower than make decisions that look good now and hurt later.

Transparent rules

Pay and distribution rules are open internally. We argue for fair distribution, so we honour it in our own company first.

Boundaries

What we refuse

Vision without a path

Grand narratives with no delivery route do not get said here.

Bets on the uncontrollable

We do not take projects premised on hitting a metric nobody can control.

Grey-area tactics

No fake orders, no fabricated data, no rules-lawyering. Slower growth is acceptable.

Treating people as a cost

We do not treat headcount as an expense to be squeezed. That is part of the same logic.

Hiring

Not expanding yet, but glad to meet you

We are three people and do not plan to expand quickly. When the work demands it we will add people one at a time: engineering first, then product and operations. If you share the belief that profit should return to producers, send your CV over — even if there is no role right now, we would like to stay in touch.
